Mark is currently working to finish up the last few odds and ends in the elementary school he built. While he still has to do his job, he has also become quite a part of the school's everyday life. According to him, all the little kids call him Mr. Quiet because he likes quiet so much, especially in the hallways. He also helps teach special classes, walk the kindergartners to class in the morning, and deal with minor discipline issues in the hall.
His school had their Scholastic Book Fair this week so Mark decided to not only help out the parent association at this new school, but also to surprise me with some new books!
He picked out great ones! He got one very sweet dog story ("How Rocket Learned to Read"), one that was a twist on the story of "no more children jumping on the bed" which includes different dog breeds ("Ten Little Puppies"), and one about a scared bear ("Bear Feels Scared"). I loved reading these stories. My sweet husband knows how to make his wife happy!
